Available Franchise Territories
We built Winslow Windows & Doors in 2011 on a simple idea: do the job right, charge a fair price, and answer the phone. Fifteen years later, we’re opening protected territories in markets that need exactly that. When you claim a territory, it’s yours. No competing Winslow owner gets seeded next door six months after you sign. First movers get the strongest pick of neighborhoods, the least competition for contractors, and the earliest shot at becoming the default window and door name in their area. Right now, twelve states are open. That window will not stay open forever.
Open Markets
These are the states with open territory availability as of today. Each one has its own weather profile and housing stock, which means different demand for impact ratings, insulation, and door systems. We’ll help you read the market before you commit.
- Texas – Coastal wind zones and brutal summers make impact windows and energy-efficient glass a constant ask from Corpus Christi to Houston.
- Florida – Highest demand for hurricane-rated impact windows and doors in the country. The building code alone keeps the phone ringing.
- California – Wildfire zones and Title 24 energy requirements mean custom windows and door replacement are year-round work, not seasonal.
- Georgia – Atlanta’s housing stock is aging fast. Window replacement demand is steady and price-sensitive, which suits our no-hassle upfront pricing model.
- North Carolina – Coastal communities need impact-rated glass while inland cities need insulation performance. One territory, two revenue streams.
- Arizona – Extreme UV exposure cooks low-quality windows in five to seven years. Homeowners here replace windows on a predictable cycle, and once they trust you, they recommend you.
- Tennessee – Growing suburbs around Nashville and Knoxville mean new construction and replacement work are both in play.
- Ohio – Harsh winters and older housing stock make energy-efficient window replacement a necessity, not a luxury. Strong lifetime-value customer base.
- Pennsylvania – Mix of historic homes and mid-century builds. Custom geometric windows and careful installation standards matter more than speed.
- Colorado – High-altitude UV, hail season, and temperature swings put windows through more than most climates can dish out.
- Washington – Wet winters and an eco-conscious buyer base make fiberglass and composite window systems a strong niche.
- Virginia – Coastal areas need impact ratings, and Northern Virginia’s renovation market never really cools off.
How Territories Work
A protected territory means you get a defined geographic area where no other Winslow Windows & Doors owner can market, sell, or install. That exclusivity is written into your agreement, not implied. We don’t overlap territories. We don’t create sub-territories inside yours. If a homeowner inside your boundary calls the national line, that lead routes to you. If a commercial builder inside your boundary needs a bid, it’s your bid to make.
Territory size depends on population density and projected demand. A metro territory might cover a cluster of zip codes. A rural territory might cover several counties. We map it together based on housing stock, competition, and how many installations a single owner-operator can realistically handle in the first two years. The goal is a territory you can actually work, not one you’ll spend three hours a day driving across.
To reserve a territory, you start by calling us. We check current availability, walk through an application, and review the capital requirements and training calendar. Reserving a territory holds it for you while we work through the process. We don’t double-book. If you’re serious, the territory waits for you. If you’re just kicking tires, we’ll know that too, and we’ll kindly suggest you take the time you need.
Claim Your Territory
Call (844) 901-4551 to check availability in your state. A live person answers the phone 24/7, so if the territory you want is still open, you’ll know in one call. Then we’ll send you the details to decide if it’s the right fit.
