The Promise, in One Paragraph
Every job Winslow Windows & Doors performs comes with a 90-day workmanship promise. If something we installed, repaired, or adjusted doesn’t hold up the way it should within 90 days of your service date, we come back and make it right at no charge to you. No forms to fill out. No fees. No hunting for a receipt. We have the job on file, and our word is the only paperwork that matters here.
What’s Covered
- The workmanship on your job. If a repair we made fails, a panel we installed shifts, or a seal we set starts to go – that’s on us, and we fix it.
- Parts we supplied and installed. Any component Winslow sourced and put in place is covered for the full 90 days from your service date.
- A return visit at no charge. If something isn’t right, we schedule a return visit – no trip charge, no diagnostic fee, nothing.
- A full re-do when a repair doesn’t hold. If the first fix didn’t stick, we don’t patch the patch. We start fresh and do it correctly.
- Cleanup after the return visit. We leave your home the same way we left it the first time – clean, with all materials and debris cleared.
- Honest answers about anything outside this scope. If we come back and find the issue is something we can’t cover under this promise, we’ll tell you clearly what it is and why – no runaround.
What Isn’t Covered
- Storm damage or accidents after our visit. If a hurricane comes through or something hits your door the week after installation, that isn’t a workmanship failure – though we’re still glad to come assess it and give you an honest estimate.
- Work performed by someone else. If another contractor touches the job after we complete it, we can’t stand behind the result. That’s fair, and most homeowners would agree.
- Parts the customer supplied. We install what we source and know. If a part came from you or a third party, we can’t warrant it – but we’ll flag any concerns before the job starts.
- Normal wear on equipment we didn’t install. Existing hardware that was already aging before we arrived isn’t covered. If we spot something like that, we’ll point it out during the job.
- Problems the customer declined to have addressed. When we flag an issue and you choose not to have it fixed at that visit, we can’t cover what wasn’t touched. We document those conversations so there’s no confusion later.
- Issues unrelated to the specific work we performed. This promise covers the scope of your job. If a new, separate problem comes up, we’ll still look at it – just under a fresh estimate, not this promise.
How to Use the Promise
Step 1: Call (844) 901-4551 – or book online
A live person picks up the phone around the clock, every day. Tell them you’re calling about a workmanship concern, and they’ll take it from there – no hold music, no voicemail loop.
Step 2: Tell us the job and roughly when it was done
A date range is fine. We pull your job from file – there’s no receipt to dig up, no claim number to reference, and no form to complete before we listen.
Step 3: We schedule the return visit
We find a time that works for you and put it on the calendar. Same background-checked, uniformed technician when possible – someone who already knows your job.
Step 4: We make it right
We show up, assess what happened, and correct it. If the fix takes more than one visit, we schedule that too. The promise isn’t satisfied until the work is right.
Timing
The 90-day window starts on your service date, which is noted on your written estimate and job record. If you’re raising something just after the window closes, call us anyway. We’re a locally owned company, not an algorithm – we’ll look at what happened and use common sense. Each Winslow location is independently operated, but every one honors this promise the same way. The name on the truck and the name on your job record are the only things you need.
Questions About the Promise
If anything above is unclear, or you just want to talk through a concern before deciding whether to call it in, reach us at (844) 901-4551. A real person answers, any hour of the day. No scripts, no runaround – just a straight answer from someone who knows the job.
